Our annual auction is critical to the success and progress of the Haring Center. At the Haring Center, we believe that EVERY CHILD should have meaningful opportunities to learn, to engage with others, and to live in an inclusive community that values all its members.

Your generous support of the auction helps us achieve this goal, not just for children at our school, but for children everywhere.

Our world-class researchers create new strategies designed to address the most pressing challenges in inclusive education facing teachers today, then test those strategies in the classrooms of the Experimental Education Unit (EEU), our thriving and inclusive birth-through-kindergarten school. Once the leading-edge practices we develop are proven to be effective, we train others to implement them so countless more students, schools, and communities can benefit — championing our best practices at the highest levels of decision-making to ensure that inclusion is embedded system-wide.

In order for this dynamic model to continue, our EEU classrooms must remain strong and thriving - the auction makes this possible. Our auction is the biggest fundraiser of the year for the EEU - the money raised at the auction helps cover the 30% gap between funding from the school's contracts and what it actually costs to operate all of our programs at their current level and pay teacher salaries.
