2022 Haring Center Auction FAQ

In-Person Live Auction Event

How can I attend the 2022 Haring Center Auction in-person?

You must register to attend the live, in-person event at the Don James Center at Husky Stadium by May 11, 2022. You will need to register in advance to join us in-person - we will not be selling tickets at the door. Additionally, you will be required to show photo proof of a negative COVID-19 test (same-day rapid or PCR test) before you can enter the stadium. If you forget, there will be a limited number of COVID-19 rapid tests available from 4:30-6:00pm on May 21, 2022 at the entrance of the event. Thank you for helping to keep our community safe!

Why aren’t there table purchases this year? Where will people sit?

In an effort to ease back into an in-person event, we have opted to not have a seated dinner, and instead to serve heavy hors d’oeuvres during an elevated cocktail hour. As such, we are selling individual tickets this year, rather than tables. However, there will be plenty of seating and tables available for everyone to eat and enjoy the live auction program. For the live auction, seating will be a mix of lecture-style and tables, with everyone facing the stage.

How will food be served? Will it be substantial enough for dinner?

There will be multiple food stations and ample passed appetizers with plenty of options for everyone (including vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free options). There will be enough food available that we are certain no one will be hungry during the program. There will also be a delivery from Dick’s Drive-In after the live auction.

Will there be beverages?

Of course! We will have plenty of beer, wine and specialty cocktails available for our guests, as well as water and an assortment of sparkling waters and soft drinks.

Will there be a live auction at the in-person event?

You bet! We will have some amazing items for you to bid on in our spirited live auction at the Don James Center.

Will proof of vaccines/boosters be required for the in-person event?

No, proof of vaccine and booster is not required. Proof of same-day negative COVID-19 test is required for attendance at the in-person event. However, we kindly ask that you are vaccinated and up-to-date with your boosters to help keep our community safe.

Will masks be required for the in-person event?

Masks will be strongly recommended, especially while not actively eating or drinking.

What if I purchase a ticket for the in-person event but am unable to attend due to a positive COVID test or are experiencing COVID Symptoms?

If you test positive for COVID-19 or feel any symptoms associated with COVID-19, please stay home and join us virtually. You will have the option to convert your ticket into a donation or receive a refund for your ticket purchase.

What do I wear?

Dust off your festive cocktail attire! Throw in some purple and gold! Find the outfit that feels best for coming together to celebrate inclusion for a special night at the stadium.

Virtual Event Livestream

How can I attend the 2022 Haring Center Auction virtually?

How does online bidding work? Is that separate from the live auction?

This year all bidding in our Silent Auction will be completely online. There will be no bidding on bid sheets at the in-person auction event. For the Online Silent Auction, you will bid using your smartphone or tablet on silent auction items. Online bidding begins May 16, 2022 at 8:00am (PST) and you can register for the online silent auction now.
